Value Proposition
Our unique value proposition here is to bring our experience from the food and auto sectors to bear on unique customer requirements and tailor make resin solutions that reduce the carbon footprint of the products molded from our resins. We assist in reducing the dependence on fossil polymers through our bio-composite resin formulations.
Technology Overview
Successfully compatabilizing biomass from a wide variety of natural fibres with PP and PE based polymer matrices is what creates the desired customized properties.
In come cases for e.g. the choice of natural fibre determines the impact strength needed as opposed to flexural modulus or the tensile elongation at yield as opposed to un-notched izod, etc. The characterization of a variety of biomasses is key to determining which biomass may be suitable for a given application.
For black colored parts, we can use our patent -pending black masterbatch (BIOBLAKR®) as a drop-in replacement for fossil-fuel-derived carbon black masterbatch for a wide variety of applications.
Products
Bins and flower pots, knee protection covers to food service trays - these are some of the examples of our technology being deployed in injection molded parts. Many of these products are available in leading mass merchandisers like Home Hardware (under the Natural brand of bins for e.g.).
Our black masterbatch (BIOBLAKR®) - patent-pending - is used in a variety of black injection molded parts in the auto and consumer markets and we develop specific masterbatches for specific applications like – high-conducting black masterbatch for trailer floor beds, low electrical conductivity black masterbatch etc.
